Meet Curt

I'm running for Greenville County Council District 21.

Curt is conservative family man, successful business owner and retired U.S. Marine. He owns CAVU Flight School and Aviation Services, and flies commercially as a contract Maintenance Test Pilot for the U.S. Army. As a husband and father, he understands the core values you hold dear to your heart. Curt will rigorously protect those values ensuring Greenville remains a great place to live and raise a family. As Greenville grows he will ensure responsible planning and ordnances are implemented to preserve the way of life we love and know in Greenville County. As a business owner, he understands the importance of low taxes, limited government, accountability, and budgeting. Curt will leverage his years of experience, both in the military and private business, to bring accountably and transparency back to the council. He will fight to lower taxes at every turn. As a decorated Marine veteran, he lives his life with and holds dear the values of Honor, Courage and Commitment. He will be a servant leader on the Council using these values as his guiding principles. During his years in the Marines on many overseas tours he served and fought for our great nation when called upon to do so. He will do so again for you as your servant representative on County Council. Curt lives in Simpsonville with his wife Katy and their four children. He earned his B.A. at SUNY Oswego and his M.B.A at Webster University. He’s active in coaching and refereeing youth soccer. In his free time he enjoys hiking, running and driving his vintage jeeps. He and his family attend Palmetto Hills Presbyterian Church in Greenville.
